THE RUMOURS OF La Liga’s demise on Sky Sports were greatly exaggerated meaning Spanish football will remain with the broadcaster for the next three seasons.
It had been expected that BT Sports would add La Liga to the Champions League and other rights they have secured at the expense of Sky Sports in recent months.
However, the new deal ensures Sky will show more than 100 live Spanish games per year until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Those games will including both El Clasico league fixtures and the final of the Copa del Rey.
